Chesapeake Delivers Real-time Mosaic Interface for Marine Sonic Sonar Chesapeake Technology, Inc. (CTI) today announced the development and first sale of its new SonarWiz.MAP interface for the Marine Sonic Technology Limited (MSTL) SeaScan PC sonar. SonarWiz.MAP is a real-time time data acquisition, real-time mosaic and post-processing system now in use world-wide by commercial, government and academic institutions. This newest interface allows MSTL sonar owners to record XTF format data files of any length while producing sidescan mosaics in both real-time and post-processing. Previously, SonarWiz.MAP was able to post process the MSTL data files but no real-time interface was available. Recent software development at both Chesapeake and Marine Sonic have produced a solution that offers new functionality for real-time applications involving the SeaScan PC. |
